The challenge

Every renovation or big cleanup ends with the same question: where does it all go? These North York jobs left behind broken drywall from an interior tear-out, old cabinetry and particle board, soil, wood and rubble from outdoor work, and stacks of yard waste bags.

None of it fits in a garbage bin, and waiting for municipal pickup days, with their limits on what goes out and how much, can take weeks while the pile sits on the lawn or the driveway.

Our approach

Goats Landscaping does the heavy part: lifting, bagging and loading. A bin loaded well holds far more than one loaded in a hurry, so heavy material goes low and flat pieces are packed tight, and anything that can be recycled is kept separate.

What we did

1. Loaded the broken drywall from the interior tear-out.
2. Packed old cabinetry and particle board flat in a bin.
3. Filled a bin with soil, wood and rubble beside the house.
4. Loaded the yard waste bags from the lawn onto the truck.
5. Hauled every load away.
